Ok. I've decided.

This shall be my last post here in Blogdrive cos I'm moving to Blogspot. The link is,

I actually wanted chocolatesouffle.blogspot.com but it's already taken =( And that author is not even updating her blog. Knn if not blogging then delete the account la. It might be temporary, it might be permanent. I still can't decide if I want to get my own domain yet.

I won't be blogging here anymore. Goodbye Blogdrive, you've served me fairly well. It had been a good 5 years. There are so much of memories here. I initially wanted to shift every post over but because Blogdrive's system's kinda stupid, I can't do it with just a few clicks. If I really want to, I have to move them one by one which will probably take forever.

So I decided to leave them all here, just the way they are, just like how I first started blogging. Moving them probably gonna make me re-read all the posts with my horrible English (not saying that it's good now) and I might just feel so disgusted that might edit them which defeats the purpose of writing them down in the first place already.

The best part about having an online journal or a blog isn't just about having readers liking what you write or the popularity, or even the money earned through advertisements. It's being able to see how much you've changed over the years and the only way to judge is through your own writings. Trust me, when I read through stuffs I wrote 5 years ago, I felt... so amused and all sorts of mixed feelings just rushed in. There are changes I like, there are changes I don't like.

I just hope Blogdrive doesn't close down or something. In the mean time, I gotta find some ways to save all my entries here.

I dunno. A part of me wants to move over very much, a part of me wants to stay. I've been with Blogdrive for so long I'm so comfortable with it already. Except the absence of an autosave function of cos.

One reason to why I should move is probably my effort in editing the layout and all. Took one whole day cos I've never tried Blogger's html before. Finally got it all set.

I was just complaining about how shitty blogdrive is yesterday, and there I went, accidentally clicking on some link and the blog's homepage disappeared before I had the chance to save my entry. And I got so frustrated I went to sleep without even bothering.

It's confirmed. I am moving for sure. I still can't decide if I want to get my own domain which means going dot com, or just get another free account in Blogspot or Wordpress. The thing with free accounts is that there are limitations.

I need something that allows me to customize the layout, something Wordpress doesn't allow for free accounts. I also need something that has the password protecting posts function, something Blogger doesn't have. I definitely need something which has the autosave function, SOMETHING STUPID KNN BLOGDRIVE DOESN'T HAVE BABI. I've checked, Blogspot, Wordpress and even Livejournal has autosave. Blogdrive is seriously so ancient and lousy la.

Going dot com isn't really necessary since I'm nowhere near super blogger, but the fact that it's not expensive and I don't need to fork out a cent cos the money in my Nuffnang account is sufficient to pay them off, is tempting.

Sigh.

Anyway, here's Melbourne Day 29.

Went to Eckersley's with Wk to check out his exhibition stuffs.

Then we met up with Maggie and Kai Mun. Went to the Imax theatre to get tickets for Transformers.

Imax in Melbourne is said to have the third largest Imax screen in the world. The largest is in Sydney.

Then we went to Flinders Station.

Federation Square is just opposite Flinders Station.

While waiting for Maggie to get tickets, we bought Lord of the Fries.

Took a train to Boxhill and then a bus to Doncaster Westfield, to meet my ex-boss Michelle, who migrated to Melbourne last year. Passed her some books she needed, talked about stuffs and after bidding goodbye, we walked around the mall before everything closed at 5pm.

This picture's not clear but Westfield's huge, almost like KL's Midvalley Megamall.

Then took a bus back to city and it was still early before the movie starts but we weren't really hungry so jeng jeng jeng! Someone suggested Pancake Parlour! YAY! Hehe.

After that, went to Imax and because it's a free seating cinema, there was already a long queue even half an hour before the show starts. The screen was really huge but our seats were quite low, quite difficult to watch the movie especially when the screan's so huge. Transformers was hrm... impressive of course but... maybe it's just me but don't you find the plot a little lousy? Probably cos it's adapted from the comic but still. Hrm I dunno lah since I don't read the comic.

It was quite late after the movie so there weren't any trams anymore. We stopped by and had some souvlaki before going home. While walking home, there's this shop along Lygon Street that sells shoes. And I saw these really adorable shoes for the little ones!

It might look like normal shoes but trust me, in real they were very adorable! Cos they're really mini!

Especially these Converse(s)! So many funky designs and they look even nicer on these mini shoes!

Happy 7yrs 1mth to us! I don't know why, 25th is always somebody's birthday. 25th June's his dad's (also the day MJ and FF died haha), today, is Sam's birthday.

Melb Day 28

Finally one day that's not boring at all! Went to Neway and celebrated Maggie's belated birthday. Then went to Grand Blue Wave Hotel for my students' examinations and got lost on the way. Went jogging with Esther in the evening and after that, we had KFC in Aeon. Walked around and eventually we went into Greenbox and sang in the capsule for an hour! Seriously, all these karaoke places (especially Greenbox) should give us some reward or some vip pass cos we're so damn frequent there! I can say that in a month, we're most likely to visit Greenbox at least three times every two weeks! Note; at least. Whether we get a room or just sing for free in the capsule. Cannot say how to sing for free later too many ppl use it they might take away the priviledge! Sorry, karaoke's like our home, free karaoke is our heaven! Wtf.

Just now while sending her home after our last karaoke session, she kept singing PCD's Jai Ho (Slumdog Millionaire's theme song) and it's damn irritating! After amoment of silence she'll blurt "Jai Ho" out of a sudden! Then before she got off my car, she said,

" You know just now why I laughed? " (there was a moment when she suddenly laughed for no reason and I went "wtf?" and she kept quiet)

" Why? "

" Baila baila! "

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH SOOOOOOO STUPID HAHAHAAHAHAHAHHHAHAH!!!!!!

You gotta know PCD's Jai Ho to understand why it's funny.

There're a lot of pictures taken today but they're all in Maggie's camera. Hopefully can get them before she flies back to Melbourne.

Tomorrow's not gonna be another boring day again! I'll be meeting Cat and we're gonna have lunch and most probably gossip. Then I've got work till night. My primary classmate asked me to go for a small gathering tomorrow so I'll be meeting people whom I've not met since I finished Standard 6! Excited =)

Ok here's Melbourne Day 28.

Checked my tweeter and thank goodness I tweeted everything otherwise all these little details will long be forgotten already.

We woke up at 1pm this day cos we slept at 4am. After chess last night, we tried playing Typer Maniac on FB which was told to us by Kai Mun and we both totally got addicted to it the moment we started and were competing to see who could top the score haha.

We got out after getting ready intending to go to Eckersley's cos Wk wanted to check out his exhibition thingie but it was already closed. So we quickly headed to the city to get our anniversary gifts! I said quickly cos shops closes at 5pm in Aussie and it was already quite late when we got out. After getting the stuffs we wanted, we were already starving cos we didn't eat a single thing since we woke up.

The building which looks like a wooden box is Melbourne Central, a shopping centre.

Some dunno what church la. Wanna post this up cos the sky looks nice.

Chinatown or known as Little Bourke Street, is that whole alley.

We had contemporary dinner at this place called Idea at Chinatown. It's actually a fine dining, Chinese restaurant which serves many conventional Chinese dishes but the interesting ones are the fusion dishes, between Japanese and Asian. They even recommend specific wines to go with the dish.

When we reached there, it was only 5pm. We went inside the restaurant and the waiter said we could have a seat first but the chef will only start cooking at 5.30pm. So we said we'll go back later and wandered around Chinatown for that half an hour. Had my favourite yam bubble milk tea at Greening. I've been trying yam bubble milk tea from everywhere I could find in Melbourne city and Greening's is one of the best I've had.

Beef gyoza which tasted a lot like Japanese gyoza and also Shanghainese dumplings, 小笼包 where you'll get hot juice spurting out when the dumpling's 'punctured'.

The service was so good!!! One thing which made us like that place was eventhough it was a Chinese restaurant, we got service as good as everyone else! It is quite well known that there are many restaurants in Chinatown run by Asians in Melbourne which don't serve Asian customers well. They prefer serving angmohs. I heard it from Wk and he himself experienced it, along with his friends. But Idea's an exception!

We didn't even remind them that we wanted the gyoza as starters but they served it first, before the rest of the main courses! Not only that, the gyoza dish came in 6, the waitress came to our table and picked 3 and put them in two bowls and served to us. We didn't even have to do a single thing!

While waiting for the main courses, Wk impatiently took out his anni gift because he liked it so much, he used it immediately.

My gift for him was a new wallet =) He has been complaining a lot that he needed a new wallet cos the one he's using was torn and he said it's not a good thing cos torn wallet means money keep flowing out wtf.

Szechuan Minced Chicken with Eggplant. VERY NICE! It's nice cos I always hate to eat eggplants but this was an exception!

Wasabi Beef Tender Fillet - just like its name, these beef fillet were SUPER tender that I don't think I'd know it's beef if I wasn't told. It had a very mild wasabi taste in it which was just nice.

The service in Braun Buffel was really good. The lady gave a lot of suggestions and allowed us to look at almost all the ranges. You know, sometimes some bitchy promoters are just plain bitchy they'll start showing faces when you ask for too much. The wallet was even nicely packed. Good service makes the both of us happy, simple as that.

He got so weirdly obsessed with the wallet I couldn't even understand.

He was holding the wallet for the next hour, squinting into every single detail, every single stitch, every single corner. And every few minutes after he discovered something he'd exclaim it to me with much amazement in his speech.

And that's what makes him, him =) He's the type that doesn't change things so frequently. Besides me *ahem, his phone's a very good example. He'd rather buy me a new phone than buy himself one. He's also the type that's super fussy and analytical when it comes to stuffs that he'll be using. Before purchasing, he'll make sure it's of the best (of cos, something his pocket can afford too), and the best of the rest, and will last, only will he decide to buy it. He's also the type that's easily amazed with great workmanship of the goods because he appreciates it. Just like the wallet =)

And for me,

A quilt bowling bag with a matching wallet from Witchery, which I'd been eyeing for a very long time! I'd been waiting for its price to be further marked down but after a while, I gave up hoping and decided to just get it since I liked it so much.

I especially love the,

zipper - big and convenient cos easy to grab and zip.

And also the,

buckle - simple yet bold.

We Typer Maniac-ed a while before playing chess again. And again, I lost boo. After that I onlined while he played game and that was the end of the day.

And he said, "checkmate" before I realised it wtf. Obviously I'm white.

Lastly, remember I stole some sand from Bondi Beach? Here's it.

It was so damn heavy! The price of stealing haha.

Finally the exams are over! I was supposed to go to Grand Blue Wave Hotel to help my students tune their violins and make sure they're all set before they enter the room to be tested. And I got lost on the way sigh. I think it'll never improve. I always lose my way no matter where I am. It's not even my first time getting there, this was my third time. It's not that I always go lor, I only go there once every year how do you expect me to remember insignificant things like that! Anyway, I was late and 2 students already finished the exams when I got there, and only left two. Which was still better than none.

YES! Over! Now I can seriously concentrate on what I should be. Stupid Melbourne Uni has not even replied to my query blardy hell. I think I should just go to ADP and ask them instead lah.

Ok, gotta go out for a good jog now. Not alone though, with Esther who's been constantly complaining that her tummy's getting bigger each day wtf. Haha. I've not jogged since the day I started to drill my students for their exams. Later sure pant like a dog wan haih.

Melb Day 27

Wtf haahahahahahahaah I was talking to my brother just now not realising the webcam's on, and my back's facing it and I was scratching my butt and Wk saw and when I went back to the laptop he wrote in msn "u scratch ur ass heheheheh" WTF AHHAHAHAAHHAHAAHAH!

Ok finally I'm done with Sydney, I can now resume to Melbourne which still has loads of pictures. But actually is a good thing cos my life seriously is so boring I really have nothing to blog about.

On the 27th, we went to Degrave Street with Maggie and Kai Mun. I don't really know which part is Degrave Street cos we went through several alleys they all look about the same.

While alleys in Malaysia are a no-no to walk on if you're alone especially if you're a girl, most alleys in Melbourne are turned into 'little streets' and you'll find lots of food places there and therefore, totally safe.

Good thing about alley shops is the free graffito haha.

Went into this little shop selling cupcakes.

Not very nice though. The best cupcakes I've had were the ones I made. HAHAHA. No la just kidding. The best I've had were made by Adelle's cousin. We used to get them to celebrate birthdays during uni days.

We took a train to Boxhill after that for Taiwanese dinner at a place called The Booth, recommended by Maggie. Some pictures here onwards are taken by Maggie's respective G10.

My beef wrap which was goooood. The wrapping layer tasted exactly like roti canai.

After that we decided to go to Docklands so we got down at Southern Cross Station and took a tram there.

Melb Day 26 @ Sydney

Last day at Sydney!

We checked out at 10.30am and kept our luggages in a locker provided in the hotel.

This is funny cos my surname's 朱

Tumbalong Park, a park we always had to pass by whenever we wanna get from our hotel to Darling Harbour or vice versa.

It was really sunny and warm that day. So warm that after a while I took off my jacket and only left my Bardot dress on.

We ate at somewhere we should have gone yesterday night which was Hurricane's! Haha cos since our plan was cancelled yesterday (due to my stupid headache) but we still really wanted to try it after hearing lots of recommendations from Wk's friends, we went there for lunch!

Fresh oysters for starter mmm

Full rack of lamb ribs which was VERY NICE! Came with a baked potato served with sour cream. Very nice also.

I know it looks a little burnt but that's the best part! Maybe it's just me, but I like all these burnt stuffs especially like 叉烧 (char siew, not sure if that's the right characters)! That lamb ribs were grilled with some sweet sauce (which is why it's easily burnt, anything sweet goes black easily when overheated) and the texture was just nice - tender. The meat part was well marinated and so nice that you just wouldn't wanna let go of a single bit of the meat stuck at the ribs!

And those were the only things we ordered cos we were afraid we cannot finish the food and we were right, after finishing the ribs we were feeling quite stuffed already. Besides, we've already got plans for desserts after that so we didn't wanna eat too much.

After a while I gave up and used my fingers instead which was a lot easier and nicer cos then I get to suck/lick the bones too haha.

Across our table there were these corporate looking men in their formal suits. First, they were all sipping champagne. Then everyone had beer. Then we saw plates and plates of full pork ribs, served to EACH ONE OF THEM! Which means they all have one pork ribs to themselves! One whole pork ribs is not small ok!

And the scariest part was, their ribs were served later than ours, but they finished before us!!! CRAZEEEEE EATERS! And after the ribs they all had wine WTF!!!

How can they stuff so much of food into their tummy! If I were to eat like them I think I'll pass out la!

And Wk concluded with this theory that certain restaurants hate serving Asians cos we Asians are so small sized (and sometime stingy), we eat much lesser than the angmohs and in other words, spend lesser. We don't need champagne or beer but only chinese tea (cheap) or water (cheaper) to go with our meals. We don't really need starters. We usually only take one main course while the angmohs sometimes need a few if the portion's not big enough for them. And if the portion's big, we sometimes even share ONE main course! And we usually don't take desserts. Our dessert is usually fruits (cheap) while the angmohs would sometimes have wine or cakes. We take a space in the restaurant but end up spending so little that if our space was taken by some angmohs they'd probably spend 2 times or more than us. Agree?

Anywayyyy.

Our bill came to only about AUD 50++! For good food like that, it's definitely not expensive if you're earning AUD! Heck even if back here in Malaysia, it is impossible to get fresh oysters and full rack of ribs for RM 50, not even RM 150 if you convert it. I remember having lamb cutlets at La Bodega once, it was RM 40++! And they're only cutlets, smaller than the size of my palm.

We went to Lindt for dessert.

We tried their Dark Hot Chocolate, where we had mix the milk and the melted dark chocolate our self.

I'm not sure how Australians or Sydneysiders drink it but what I did was pour all the chocolate into my cup first cos I intended to add the milk later to dilute the chocolate. And when I did that, a lady saw and she was quite taken aback.

It probably runs in our blood, I'm very much a chocolate person. Same goes to my family. I love anything and everything chocolate although I know too much is not good for health. My favourite hot chocolate so far before I tried Lindt's has got to be Brunetti's Italian Hot Chocolate which is very very thick, almost like drinking melted chocolate. Which was why, I poured all of the chocolate into my cup at Lindt's. I even thought for a while how wasteful it is to put it in a separate er... dunno what's that thing called so I'll just call it mini mug. They should have just put all the chocolate into the drinking cup, and give us the milk in a separte mug cos by pouring the chocolate out from the mini mug, there will sure be leftovers in it. And it's such a waste to even leave one drop of chocolate behind. To me la.

We later found out from Wk's friend that the Sydneysiders usually pour a little of the chocolate and mix it with a lot of milk. No wonder that lady stared at my action for a moment.

Anyway, after trying Lindt's Dark Hot Chocolate, I can say that it's on par with Brunetti's.

We also tried one of their cakes.

I tell you, that cake is SUPER DUPER TROOPER LOOPER NICEEEEEEE!!!!!

Let me just describe how it feels when I first put it into my mouth.

HEAVENLY

Yes yes yes, heavenly's the word! It's a flourless cake, served warm with piping hot melted chocolate, and ice cream at the side! The ice cream's really nice too btw, from Lindt too! And I think that red thing's a raspberry. Dunno.

When I first put one spoon of the cake into my mouth, the whole thing melted almost immediately into paste! And in split second my eyes opened wide in awe while my mouth were closed, still feeling like it's in heaven and I immediately told Wk excitedly after I swallowed, "YOU MUST TRY THIS!!! FASTER TRY!!!".

I think that was the BESTEST BESTEST BESTEST cake I've ever had in my entire 23 years of life!

MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I couldn't stop raving about it from the moment I took my first bite.

We then walked around the city for a bit before heading to Australia Square to meet Chen Sen. We went to the Orbit Bar, a revolving bar located at the 47th level of the square, with floor-to-ceiling window and you get to see 360 degrees view of Sydney, if you stay long enough for it to finish one whole circle. I was shocked when I realised the floor's revolving, only a few moments after I was seated. It's really slow that you won't even realise it when you enter the bar.

Flew back to Avalon Airport. Omg Avalon Airport is so small! It looks like a... hut except that of course it's not made of grass nor logs. Seriously so damn small. The whole arrival hall is only one small square, together with the carousel and counters inside it right after we got down and walked into the hall.

We then took a bus back to Flinders Street and at first wanted to walk back home cos there weren't any trams moving anymore but in the end took a taxi cos it was freezing cold that night.

Ok the end of Sydney 09! Finally!

My opinion on Sydney is that it's a very beautiful city with all the heritage and its harbours, quays and all. Definitely worth a visit once in our lives. Melbourne on the other hand, is somewhere I'd prefer to live in but maybe that is because I know I have someone dearest to me there and not Sydney, maybe not. I still like Melbourne nevertheless. It has its own uniqueness and so does Sydney. Anyhow, it was a good 5 days trip, money and time well spent. We saw lots of things, tried lots of things. And one thing I know is that, this probably won't be our last time there hehe.

How is the new banner!

Ok kinda boring I know but it's my first time making one so don't expect much la! It took me quite a while to figure out how I can make it okay cos blogdrive's arrangement of html is so damn complex la. I feel so damn proud of it now. At least this one looks much better than the previous one (which came with the template). I think.

It won't be permanent though, when I have more time I'll experiment with all the Photoshop stuffs I just downloaded fresh from the net! Seriously, I don't know if it's just me or what, does anyone think that downloading all these PS stuffs like brushes, patterns, gradients etc is really super addictive??? It IS addictive to me! I spent almost half a day just sitting by my laptop and clicking "next page" and "download" all the way! It's like I can't stop searching and looking for what's next, if you know what I mean.

Ok so here's Sydney Day 4. Day 4 was our anniversary as I have mentioned in the previous post. We took a day's trip following a tour guide and traveled through a coach. Main destination was the Blue Mountains.

We left from the city at around 8am. First stop was the Featherdale Wildlife Park. The name pretty much tells everything - it's like a mini zoo filled with koalas, kangaroos, wombats, birds and whatnot. I was excited at first when I read from the itinerary that we get to cuddle a koala in this park but it didn't turn out that way. Boo =(

FYI, kangaroos and wallabies are quite persistent, it's like they're always hungry and won't have enough of food. If they're strong enough, they'll snatch the whole tub of food from your hands.

Then the tour guide drove away and stopped at a field to demonstrate boomerang throwing. Took videos of it.

I think we stopped by in the middle of the journey at some look-out. I can't remember what's the name because we only stayed there for a very short while as it was freezing cold. Which was also why I didn't bother taking pictures. Besides, it wasn't impressive anyway.

Honestly, I wasn't really impressed by the view. Nevertheless, it's still good to be able to see it before it gets eroded completely but really, the view of The Twelve Apostles at The Great Ocean Road in Victoria was far more breathtaking than The Three Sisters. Another factor which contributed to the turn off was our encounter with fucking rude tourists and, not trying to be racist here but I'm just stating the truth, the rude tourists were Koreans.

When we arrived at Echo Point, there were so many other tourists at the look-out. It was really hard to get a picture together with the mountains cos everyone was busy taking to a point where we had to sorta 'queue' to take pictures. It's totally ok when you waited and you still get to take pictures peacefully. That's if the tourists have the basic manners of letting you do so but it was totally not the case when it came to this Korean lady.

Wk and I were standing at the look-out looking at the mountains in between the many tourists there when a Korean lady patted his shoulder, oh wait. The right word probably cannot be pat cos the definition of pat is to "strike gently". What she did was definitely NOT gentle at all. She tapped him in a super rude way, and didn't even say a word but made hand gestures to signal him she's trying to get a picture and that he should move back.

WHAT THE FUCK.

DAMN STUPID THAT LADY. If she can't speak a word of English the least she can do is ask politely to let her get a picture. STUPID KOREAN WOMAN WITH NO MANNERS AT ALL.

Now I regret not taking a picture of her so that I can post it here and show the world how she looks like. Anyway, people like her have one same look on the face - ugly cos they have no manners.

By the way, please don't get my words wrong. I didn't say ALL Koreans are rude ok. Some are actually quite nice cos when one Korean girl (young one) saw me and Wk trying to get a picture ourselves, she offered to help us take.

I prefer the one we took ourselves though. Still, I appreciate her kindness very much. At least, she didn't bring Korea any shame. Unlike that rude woman earlier.

What do you think? Three Sisters, or Twelve Apostles? I personally think The Twelve Apostles beat The Three Sisters flat but I won't say the visit to The Three Sisters was a waste since it's not a permanent thing. It'll eventually be eroded. Same goes to The Twelve Apostles. It was said that The Island Archway has partially collapsed this year June. Not only that, I don't think there are even twelve apostles now. Probably lesser cos I heard a few has already collapsed too.

We then went to the Scenic World where we took the Katoomba Scenic Skyway, a glass bottom cable car, across the mountains. Here are some shots taken during the journey.

And then upon reaching, we took the Katoomba Scenic Railway, which is said to be the world's steepest railway, down to the Jamison Valley.

At Jamison Valley we bushwalked the forest before taking the Flyway, another huge cable car back to Echo Point. The Railway was originally built to facilitate coal and oil shale mining.

At this point of the day, I was already having a headache. Not sure if it's because of the thin air or the long ride in the coach which was heated and was really stuffy.

We then left to Leura and were given some time to venture ourselves in the small town. We went into this candy store which sells SO MUCH of candies! So many types to choose from! Licuorice, gummies, fudges, straps, you name it! There's even Cherry Coke, dunno what 7-up, candies from the Willy Wonka company and lots more!

Bought my Bart and Hommer Simpsons marshmallow from here. Which I saw later in Southern Cross Station in Melbourne wtf. Cheh.

The journey then continued but my headache was already getting more apparent so I slept through it.

We took a boat and cruised through Sydney Harbour to Circular Quay where we were then dropped there and that was the end of our trip. Again, I slept through the whole cruising cos the headache was really serious by then. It was a pity that I didn't get to see the night view of Sydney city while we cruised back. Wk said it was beautiful. We even passed through underneath Sydney Harbour Bridge. I hate my weak tolerance to long rides or just whatever that caused the headache =(

We immediately went back to the hotel cos I desperately needed something to kill the pain. Popped two panadols and tried to rest.

As I have said, it was our anniversary that day. We've actually booked a place that night at Hurricane's for dinner but because I was really not well to move around, we cancelled the plan. Instead of ribs for dinner, we had kebab from somewhere nearby our hotel.

We first saw the shop when we were on the way home. It has this catchy line at the signboard, "Five Star Kebab" and we were both laughing about it saying "Kebab also got stars haahha". I woke up after about 2 hours of sleep and was hungry so Wk went out and bought them back cos I said I wanted to try it.

Our 7th anniversary dinner was kebab takeaway on our hotel's bed =) It doesn't matter even if we didn't have good ribs to celebrate the day because what's more endearing is knowing at that moment itself I have someone who's there to look after me, my ridiculous needs and my ridiculous tolerance to little things like long rides, and he doesn't say a shit about anything at all.

Which all came out as my vomit later that night wtf. No la it's not food poisoning. I slept right after eating so it was most probably indigestion. Speaking of which, I do remember one time having diarrhea in Sydney. On the first night I arrived. Not sure if it's because of the food here. I remember when I first came to Melbourne too, I had mild diarrhea for a few days. Maybe my tummy needs some time to get used to the food in Aussie.

Anyway.

Won't say it's a good day for our anniversary with all that headache, but like what Wk said, "as long as we're together, everyday's anniversary." which I can't agree more.

Melb Day 25 @ Sydney - Our anniversary ♥

On the 25th of June this year, it was our 7th year together! ♥ We were at Sydney and was really busy moving around so I didn't have the time to do a proper anniversary post then. One of the main reasons I MUST be there with him in June is because I wanted us to be able to celebrate our anniversary which falls on June. And so far, it has been going well =)

So since I wanted to blog about Day 25 at Australia, I'll just go with this anniversary post I've been wanting to do.

After all these years, I don't think I have mentioned how we started seeing each other. It all began in 2001 when we were both placed in the same class, 3 Ilmu during secondary. He, to me back then, was a nerd because he sat right in front of the teacher's table and had always scored well. Me to him, oh btw, this was what he told me ok I didn't make this all up by myself. Me to him, was a pretty classmate but a little antisocial. We didn't talk eventhough we were in the same class for one whole year, and we both went to Genting (school trip) at the end of Form 3 after PMR. I think the only conversation we ever had was probably one time when I asked him to pass me a colour pencil wtf. I can't remember how, but somehow we exchanged numbers and he managed to get mine and vice versa. I mean, everyone of us la, not only the 2 of us exchanged numbers cos if that's the case it'll definitely look kinda fishy already.

After Form 3, from what he told me (must keep reminding readers that I didn't make this up one wtf), he actually kinda liked me back then but didn't get the chance to really approach or talk to me. I kinda understand too cos apparently, from what I heard, lots of people in school were afraid to talk to me cos I always look so serious and I wasn't friendly. Which is true, I used to be really quiet to new people and I totally sucked at being friendly. Still am, btw.

During the holidays, I received a msg one day telling me that the PMR results are out and it was from him. It didn't occur to me that he had feelings for me cos I obviously only took it as his courtesy to inform me about it. Besides, during school time we were teasing him with this other girl and I actually, really thought he liked her haha. Then I found out from him that it's not true, and that he was only playing along. Which I believe because I know who he used to like and she definitely is not one of them.

When school reopened, the form 4 classes were reshuffled again according to streams. This time, we were both in pure science stream classes but in different classrooms. He told me he actually hoped to be in the same class with me and even thought of switching to my class when he found out we were placed in different classes! Haha I wonder what could have happend it he really did switch classes.

Anyway, in the end he stayed in his own and I was in mine. But that was not the end (duh...). I think it was during early form 4, I went home one day and onlined. Which to me back then was a rare thing to do. I rarely onlined eventhough I had connection. We used to use dial up and it's freaking slow so I wasn't really bothered to get online.

So yeah. That one fine day, I onlined. Back then, there was no msn yet and what we used was something called ICQ. So I was checking out my contacts when a window popped up and someone said hi. I didn't know who it was, thinking it could be some random fella from the internet. He started with the usual asl blablabla. And then he told me his name "Wei Kiat" and I asked if he's the Wei Kiat from STAR (my school) and he said yeah. And we talked and I dunno how, we clicked on so well.

And the rest is history =)

Oh btw, he actually knew who I was when he clicked me and asked "ASL" WTF! He knew it was me but he pretended that he didn't know me. Hahahaha!

I obviously can't remember what we talked about but I certainly remember how much I got hooked to internet since then. To be exact, to meet him online. Everyday, the very first thing I'd do upon reaching home was switching on the computer and get onlined and check my ICQ to see if he was around. And I thought I was crazy. I found out later (when we've already hooked up of course) that he too, was always anticipating to get online and talk to me when he gets home from school too.

I was so into this online thing to a point where I mom had to confiscate (wtf) the computer cable just to cut down my time on the computer because I was seriously so into it, I was neglecting my studies.

Yeah, can say that our relationship pretty much started from the internet. Haha.

So there goes our story. There's obviously so much more to talk about. How we talked on the phone till our phone bills went sky high, till my dad got so damn pissed I've never seen him so pissed before, how we'd meet in school but pretend we didn't know each other, how we'd pass each other looks and winks when we pass by each other, how we'd try to look for one another whenever we pass by either one's classrooms, how we flushed when the news spreaded in school and people started to tease.

These are memories I'd like to reminisce when we grow old and gray together.
