Once and for all, this is the last entry for my Melbourne trip.
26 June 2007
We went for a day's trip with Fang Chin and Sue Li to the Great Ocean Road. Main attraction was to watch the 12 Apostles. Go Wiki or Google yourself I'm too lazy to tell what is it cos I myself have no idea until today albeit seeing it with my own eyes already.
Sorry to say this Jie but I hate the journey to a destination especially if it's a far and rocky one. I hate to take busses or trains. I hate flights too cos I simply hate how the pressure blocks my (and also everyone's, don't you agree) ears even though temporarily but painfully. I hate the sound of noisy engines. This also applies to motor boats. Which explains why I never fail to get seasick easily.
ANYWAYSSS.
I slept through the whole journey so I don't know what's the name of certain places we dropped by before seeing the 12 Apostles.
Wtf betul. Everywhere was wind makes taking picture so unfriendly.
Because I think I look like crap. Put on ALL the necessary makeup and forgot to fill in my scarce eyebrow which made me look extra crappy. And plus, I just woke up from my sleep, remember?
Like, Haaah leh lu yah! HAHAHAHAHHHA.
I conclude this as the black and brown couple. The hair laaa.
Went to some park and fed parrots.
Fang Chin said I look like a koala with my hood on.
The parrots were sweating... no laaa it was drizzling.
Don't ask me why the video's taken horizontally. Ask the ever smart boyfriend.
And see some wild koalas.
Next, rainforest trekking; as in a 10 minutes walk through the forest.
Ohh oh oh there's this video damn nice I love it so much cos it's like a music video really wan!
Nice rrrright!
And after a few more van rides, we finally reached the long awaited destination.
I had a craving for Thai food and so we went to Ying Thai; some Thai food restaurant, like obviously.
My favourite dish omg I'm so missing this T_____T It's some tossed noodle with a very exotic taste! The best part of this is the seafood omg so orgasmic!
*orgasms* It's a mussel and a prawn btw *continues imaginery climaxing*
Fang Chin and Sue Li's which I forgot what's the name. Flied Lice laa as you can see.
A picture I've always wanted to take;
A sinking library roof. Cool huh? Melbourne is really an arty farty city.
I made dinner this night. Dinner for 8 if I'm not wrong. Curry chicken, mapo tofu, sucky vegetable, green bean soup which was toooo gooey, omelet and etc. (can't remember actually)
After dinner, we went to Crown Casino. The first casino I stepped my foot into. Cos 18 was the legal age to enter and yet the guards checked our ID cos we don't look 18 I suppose they thought we're... 16? Like wtf I know.
Anyway, the main reason of even bothering to go into the casino wasn't just to donate money nor to feel the vibe of gambling; but to watch the fire shooting which was scheduled.
Pictures do no justice at all and so, here's a video of it:
Tried taking picture of the city:
But failed miserably even after 23345 tries.
So we decided to take it with timer without us.
And that's the last place I went before leaving...
28 June 2007 - A heavy day.
The day started with me not feeling well. I was supposed to go out and get souvenirs before leaving to the airport but I was already having fever by then. Gobbled 2 panadols and slept while you went out to get the souvenirs for me. Took the cab and went to the airport almost immediately after you came back with all the things which you thoughtfully got for me. Including the cream puff which you bought for me, unexpectedly. You said you knew I'll be hungry by then. I didn't know what to say but to hug you. As tight as I can never let go.
In the cab, I had flashbacks of the whole 14 days we were together. It'll take forever to list down every single things that we did when I was there, but we both know how much it meant.
And as usual, tears rolled down my cheeks. Not the first time since the day I was there though.
The last few days before this day, I have already started crying and telling myself, "at least there were 2 weeks".
Fuck 2 weeks. Who knew 2 weeks are fucken short!
It felt as if it was yesterday when I arrived and feel the breeze of the night in Melbourne. If felt as if it was yesterday when I surprised you at How Keat's place. It felt as if it was yesterday when we first kissed after 4 months. Everything which once felt so near, was gonna be so far again.
After checking in, we found a spot to take a seat. Again. I couldn't hold back the tears and I knew people were looking at me like I'm a freak. You were silent. Me too. We both knew this day will come sooner or later.
It hurt to watch you leave last time. It hurts more to leave you, this time.
Before boarding into the terminal, we hugged. I cried even more knowing after this, there'll be more waiting before we could actually touch each other.
And I walked away not turning back.
I boarded onto the plane; the plane took flight; and here I am now, home.
A picture of us before I left;
In case you're wondering, yes that's a hickey on my neck.
And a picture of me eating the cream puff, while crying.
Thanks for that whole 2 weeks you gave to me. No words can describe my gratitude and how much I treasure you.
So that's it. Phew. So much of emotions that I actually cried typing all that omg.
By the way, I just came back from dinner with Wai Tuck and Jun Xue. Here's one of the very lame conversations among all the other lamer conversations we had;
WaiTuck: Eh come la we go Melaka. Then we can eat nice gula Melaka.
EeVon: HAR WTF MELAKA CAN EAT NICE GULA MELAKA ONE AH!!! HARHARHARHARHAR!
JunXue: Yala you might even see people buying the gula melaka strips and lick them *holds an imaginery gula melaka and sticks tongue out doing the licking action*
Ee Von: WHAT??? They actually sell gula melaka like that one ah??
JunXue: BWAHAHAHAHHA OF COS NO LA IT WAS A JOKE LAH!
Omg lah I am so exhausted (Ya right wtf and I still have the energy to blog somebody slap me please) everyday have to drive to uni at 6.30 a.m. YES 6.30 I sometimes go at 6 a.m. just to avoid the bloody jam, then classes finish at 4 or 5 or 6 pm which is the motherfucking jam hour again.
Reach home already have to finish up assignments which never stops piling up.
And I still have assignments pending. Please slap me off blogging can ah?
Anyways, this entry is so gonna be full of myself so if there's any of you who doesn't think I am worth a glance nor a blink, you may press Alt + F4 now.
...
...
Eh, still here ah?
Okay let's begin.
I always tell myself that no matter how many pink stuffs I have, my favourite colour is not pink.
Pink handphone
Pink handphone covers
Pink tote
Pink sling bag
Pink notebook
Pink pencil case
Pink mechanical pencil
Pink interior purse
Pink nail polish
Pink mouse
And even pink ink in my planner
Despite having so many pink stuffs (already), the day I came back from Melbourne, I bought something pink from the Melbourne Airport.
A PINK IPOD NANO 4GB YO! YEEEEEEEEHAW!
Walao damn cun hor.
It was cheap, that's why. I got it for AUS$ 249. Conversion around 2.99 now so you go calculate la.
And then because ze ipod is so thin and fragile, I figured it needs a protector. So I asked Jie to find me some nice ones cos I seriously don't know where I can get a protector here in Malaysia and since I saw a few nice ones in Melbourne, I asked him to look at some for me. And urm, buy la of cos.
PINK IPOD NANO PROTECTOR HAHAHAHA are you getting sick of pink already?
Wah a protector not cheap wei the above was about AUS$ 30.
Camwhore time camwhore time!
I'm lovin' it. <3 =)
Eh, don't get me wrong, I'm not loving it because it's pink. I'm loving it because it's an Ipod, duh. But don't deny that it does look nice in pink, agree?
I repeat again, my favourite colour is not pink. The reason why I have so many pink stuffs is because they happen to look nice only in pink. Alright? My wardrobe has nothing pink. They are mostly black and white and green. And I will never be clothed in pink unless I have to.
Moving on, I bought something recently;
An external hard disk! Yay! No more worries of taking a gazillion pictures and not knowing if the laptop still have enough space to store!
The day I bought it I was so excited that I kept showing it off to Jie cos mine is so much nicer than his hahaha wtf hor! And he got really annoyed. But what the fuck nobody cares I still wanna show it off!
Oh one more thing, wanna promote Lancome now.
*Advertisement music please* lalala wtf
Pictures below is to prove how really so very sibeh good Lancome mascaras are.
ALL THAT WITHOUT USING AN EYELASH CURLER (cos I don't need one wtf)
Oh and of course credits to M.A.C powder and blusher, and L'oreal eyebrow pencil for that faces up there.
Oh I love this picture of urm... myself wtf.
COS MY FACE LIKE PORCELAIN (ahem, looks) SO SMOOTH FLAWLESS!
Haha ok you may puke now.
I was experimenting with PS just now and did something really ammusing: putting digital eyelash.
Hahahahaha skill not so good so looks kinda out of place. Nevermind I'll ask my sifu to teach me how to perfect the art of wearing a digital eyelash HAHAHA. My sifu damn keng one don't pray pray ah w.t.f.
Okla the sifu is actually Jie. He's the one who taught me how to use PS and every other things one.
Day 12 @ Melbourne / 25 June 2007 / Me and the boyfriend's 5th year anniversary!
HI I'M NOT DEAD!
Have been totally busy these days but while I was busy-ing, I managed to edit a few pictures and here's a small continuation on my Melbourne entries.
Yup like what the title speaks, it was our 5th year anniversary on the 25 June. Actually if anyone didn't already know, one of the main reasons I die die also must get myself to Melbourne was to be able to celebrate such an unforgetably remarkable day for us. Five years of loving. And still loving. (Btw, I love you mr. boyfriend =D)
So anywayssss, this is the morning. There wasn't much pictures in the day so I guess we went shopping. If you're wondering, yes I did a lot of shopping. DO NOT question how much I spent cos I seriously hate that question. I hate telling people how much I spend on things. You see me having it, you present me a nice compliment, I thank you, then shaddup.
Okay okay no more digression. The day.
I LURRRRVE THIS PICTURE DUNNO WHY! And HAHAHA look at that bushy eyebrow and the amount of facial hair omg thank goodness I'm a woman and my gene is on the hairless side! o.O
<3
Have you all eaten a cream puff before?
Adelle once introduced me to cream puffs and I tried the ones at MidValley (Papa Beard or Beard Puff or Papa Puff whichever it is). It didn't taste *that* good to hook me onto it. But this,
VELI THE NICE! From somewhere called Puffy (I think) in QV.
And when I was back in Malaysia, because I miss the cream puff (and the times eating them with boyfriend) so much, I went and bought one from BeardPapa/PapaPuffblablabla in MidValley to cure my emptiness.
T_T not as nice...
Okay whatever. I don't care when he comes back home I'll make sure he buys back dozenSSS and dozenSSS of Krispy Kreme cos it's seriously the most orgasmic doughnuts ever baked! Yes very overrated but they are undeniably too scrumptious to be true!
T___T gosh I miss Melbourne. I miss boyfriend... T____T
Shoot. Proceed.
So in the night, we had a very interesting dinner to commemorate our love's 5th birthday. (HAHA at one point it sounded a little gross to me... ''our love's 5th birthday'' gelinyer)
While waiting for the tram...
Melbourne's Crown Casino building from the outside.
And then the tram arrived!
Guess what? We had our dinner in a tram!
The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. You can wiki and google it to find out more.
We had a 5 course meal inside the tramcar restaurant which rounds the city.
Yes. FIVE COURSE MEAL. I tell you, ate until my stomache can burst. But seriously, it was worth the experience. Dining in a tram, with romantic lights and superb food. And of course, the love of your life as your company.
We were first served with french bread, some good red wine and champagne.
Pictures below are arranged chronogically. There are 2 dishes in some course which was because we were given 2 options for each course so we both took one for each.
appetiser: cream, liver and cognac pâté crowned with a port wine and juniper jelly roasted red capsicum dip served with assorted crisp bread Oooh the both dips damn kao nice I tell you! I've never eaten such nice dips before in my life!
entrées: grilled kangaroo loin brushed with lemon myrtle, thyme and honey, served on vegetable and chive frittata with bush tomato chilli jam smoked salmon and avocado mousse dressed with baby capers, red onion and tomato. Served with frisee and dill crème friache Kangaroo meat tastes like beef but not as nice. It was ok only. But the bush tomato chilli jam very nice! Oooh the frittata too! So light like whipped cream made of egg only. OMG the smoked salmon fucking orgasmic I've never eaten such delectable salmon before. Paired with the avocado mousse (also my first time eating) wah lan eh sibeh nice!
main courses: char grilled breast of chicken seasoned with a sun dried tomato tapenade served with a mediterranean vegetable risotto, salsa verde and shaved parmesan prime eye fillet of beef resting on a potato and herb rosti, accompanied by seasonal vegetables, onion marmalade and rich beef jus (I dunno why it's spelled like this also) Whoa this dish the amount of parmesan was weely weely very generous. Er, this one ok ok only. Not a fan of steak.
cheeses: selection of australian cheese served with dried muscatel grapes, pear paste, fruit bread and water crackers I forgot the name of all the cheese but the one with lots of spots is the Australian blue cheese.
desserts: warm sticky date pudding topped with butterscotch sauce served with cream chocolate mousse dome served on a sponge wafer with mango coulis I like this. Boyfriend prefered this. Both were equally as good actually, but we were too over-stuffed with food so we did not finish the last 2 course.
And here are the other pictures taken.
Very nice victorianish lights.
Busy wishing the father happy birthday. Yes, on that same day.
Dunno why I look so flushed. Must be the wine.
Itu boyfriend <3
Ladies could bring home the table flower!
Yup, that's the end of it. Will continue the rest of the entries another day.
If you have been wondering whether or not I called my parents to watch the KLPAC concert? Well, yes. I did asked indirectly. Indirectly as in, I passed the message to my 7 year old sister and made her pass the message to them. And yeah, you can go figure what happened in between la.
All in all, they came for the concert. LATE. I was very disappointed not seeing them in their seats (I bought them the tickets purposely chose 2nd row just so I can see them and vice versa) and was about to throw a fit when at the end of the concert, I walked out and saw my mum, then my sister, then my dad.
<---- was all I could do at that moment.
They were late for the show (tai sei one already reminded them that the jam wll take them about 2 hours to reach from home but never listened) so the managers made them sit at the top seats.
Okay it's first day of uni and all we did was go into the computer lab and waited for the Computer Music lecturer to start lecturing but all he did was gave an ass long crappy motivation lecture. We're supposed to have a class after that but that lecturer for that course wasn't around at the moment so no class. And we went to MidValley to watch Transformers (my 2nd time btw cos it's so nice i don't fucking mind watching again in fact I think I can still laugh hysterically and glue on my seats if I were to watch it for the 3rd time). After that I had to go over to KLPAC for my rehearsel. It was supposed to start at 7 but when I reached, they were rehearsing the piece which I won't be playing so we (me and friend) waited and waited and waited till 9 only get to rehearse. Fuckla tomorrow and thursday got rehearsel some more 7 to 10. Sunday already rehearse for 5 fucking hours (2-7pm) until my head was so fucking painful I had to take panadols and sleep.
Oh ya ya'll should come and watch the concert it's kinda nice I think especially the cello concerto. Gonna have a great cellist to bow her stuff out. Very recommended if you're a music student.
It's this Friday and Saturday 8.30 pm at KLPAC, Pentas 1.
Too bad, I've already given my complimentary tickets to 2 of my friends so er, to anyone I know who wants to come, you gotta buy it.
RM 20/ RM 30/ RM 40 for students depending on the seats. Otherwise, RM 30/ RM 45/ RM 60.
Okay dilemma dilemma.
I was thinking whether or not, to ask my parents to watch the concert.
I know most of you would yell, OF COURSE LA STEWPID BITCH! (ok maybe the last word is not necessary)
But but but! I have reasons not to ask!
Well the strongest reason I can think of to WHY THEY SHOULD COME is, shouldn't they know why the fuck their daughter always comes home late at night and what the fuck is she doing?
And the strongest reason I can think of WHY THEY DON'T HAVE TO COME LA is, well, I'm playing as a second violinist only (not that they know the difference if compared to the first violinists la) and I'm like sitting behind (you can consider me keh leh feh although i am not cos i really play one ok there's no way to cheat in KLPAC it's unlike UMSO) so what's the point they come and see their daughter sit behind there un-noticeable? Not that she's the co-concert master nor the first violinists nor any soloist also, right?
HOW NOW HOW NOW! SHOULD I ASK OR NOT!!!
P/s: I'm not done with my Melbourne entries yet but I don't think I'll have the time to do it soon since I have rehearsels almost everynight till the concert and uni started already. So, sorry la. Will do it when I'm... unbothered.
