Today is a weekend therefore, SHOPPING!!!

We went to Bridge Road and did some shopping. Bridge Road is basically a place where lots of off season stuffs are sold, therefore at cheaper prices. And plus, it's the sale season in Melbourne so there were lots of sales going on.

I bought 5 tops at 15AUD (approximately RM 45) cheap onot you tell me!

Then we went and had McD's for lunch and that was my first time eating Australian McD.

And you know what made the both of us mad?

This stupid friggin chilli sauce which cost us AUD 50 cents (approximately RM 1.50 according to the current currency rate).

I simply asked Wk if they have chilli sauce and he went to the counter and asked. And the girl said yes adding a "It's 50 cents" behind. Like wtf. And I made myself finish the whole SMALL tub of AUD 50 cents chilli sauce because I fucking paid RM 1.50 for that chilli sauce which is free in M'sia. With unlimited reload some more. And far nicer.

We both had,

At first sight, I was totally turned off by the word "100% BREAST FILLET" cos I don't like chicken breast.

But then when I ate it,

Walao damn nice ok! The chicken didn't tasted like what I know as chicken breast at all! Yumm yumm I'm starting to miss it.

We went home after spending almost the whole day there.

Actually I was really really tired already and my eyes were so fucking uncomfortable cos I wore contact lens and the air is so dry and cold here.

I was trying out that friggin AUD 40 stockings from Witchery bought earlier at Bridge Road. I was so stupid I looked at all their stockings which were priced at AUD 15 and thought everything was the same price. We only realise the price when we were paying for it. But it was seriously quite good la.

It was ribbed and was partially made of wool so it was quite functionable in this winter.

For dinner, we decided to make sushi.

And I made a super big California Roll (cos I don't know how to make one)

Then I asked him to cut the sushi into bite sizes while I continue making. And after a while he presented me this proudly.

Different sizes, different thickness, different height. And he was quite happy of it some more -_-

He said the sushis tasted ok but I thought they sucked. So we cooked some sauges we bought earlier in the morning at Vic Market.

Then we snugged comfortably on the couch and watched my favourite japanese drama while eating sausages and sucky sushi. After finishing our dinner we had Baileys,

while we cuddled and finished 2 episodes of the drama.

It was a moment when I couldn't ask for more =)

 

This is to show how ignorant my boyfriend is.

I was asking him about someone (name shall not be mentioned).

" Have you seen XXX in the past few days? "

" No. "

" Last week? "

" Erm, got. "

" How was her hair? "

" I forgot. HAhahahaahaahaah. "

" JIEEEERRRRRRR!!! "

I won't compare his ignorance with my ability to remember what a particular person wore on a particular occassion or how was his/her hair when we met for as long as a year ago. But A WEEK AGO??? And HAIR? THE MOST PROMINENT PART OF A HUMAN BODY?

I rest my case.

Just now Wk went out for a meeting with some important people while I stayed at home and PRACTISED VIOLIN (like finally) and he did some groceries shopping on the way back.

I hopped on him and hugged him once he walked into the apartment and he hurried to the dining table and asked me to see what he has got.

He bought me my favourite cream puff! Puffy's Cookie Puff which is the best cream puff I've ever eaten! (Ok lah the only other cream puff I've eaten before is Papa Beard's Cream Puff or dunno what name lah I can't be bothered, just know it's the one in MidValley at the Lower Ground level)

He introduced it to me last year and I fell in love with it since then.

Just look at the cream oozing out. It's the best part of the whole thing mmmmm

And not only that, he also bought me something new! He bought a new range which is their ice cream puff.

Hmmm the cream puff is still the best but this was not bad.

And then and then! He took out more stuffs from the shopping bag and amazed me further!

I'm a total sucker for Cadbury's Crunchie and Fry's Turkish Delight ok nobody else knows me more than him oh gawd I love this man so much! =D =D

I was so happy I kept smiling like... a happy person! =D =D =D

We chilled for a while before he proceeded to preparing dinner. Yup it was his turn to make dinner tonight! =)

Boiled broccoli stirred with butter, salt, sugar and pepper. Very nice!

Italian Herbs Lamb chop topped with mushrooms and traditional gravy. Very nice!

Dinner tonight! =) Yum yummm I'm serious everything was good.

And we had wine again. And I transformed into Guan Gong once again. I think I'm allergic to this wine =(

As much as I like the fact that he cooked for me tonight, I discovered I'm quite fussy when it comes to cooking. Or maybe it's guys that are too lazy?

For example when he was stirring the broccoli with butter, he used a fork. I told him to use a wooden spoon but he insisted on the fork. Why? " Don't need to wash. "

The reason why I even suggested using a spoon instead of fork is because the fork stabs and cuts the brocolli into pieces and everything will be a mess. But he insisted on fork so fine lah.

And then when scooping the mashed potatoes onto the platter, he used a fork AGAIN cos previously the fork was used to mash the potatoes and so he conveniently used it to scoop. I told him why not use a spoon and he said, " Lazy lah, don't need wash more. "

And this was in the noon when he wanted to cook instant noodles for me. He took out two packets of DIFFERENT FLAVOURED instant noodles and he asked if it's ok to cook both TOGETHER.

Seriously are all guys like that or am I just being too fussy on cooking?

... didn't go shopping as planned yesterday. For reasons you don't need to know but it was all good.

I made pasta for dinner, but it was a bit too salty. It has always been like that, my cooking. Maybe I should go easy on the salt. I don't know why for some weird reasons everytime when I taste the food in the midst of cooking, they taste rather tasteless hence the excess salt added. But once served, they will become too salty. Hrmmmmm. But he loved it so, yeah.

" Wait I pose first! " =D doink.

Bolognaise sauce with chicken and mushrooms, and spaghetti.

Leaves plus a bit of Parmesan cheese shavings, Balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Pink Lady Apples which was too sour to my liking. I thought it's supposed to be sweet hrmmpph.

I intended to cheat him saying it's wine but he knew it wasn't even before I ask him =( he said he drinks wine almost every week it's impossible for him not to know =( it's blackcurrant Ribena by the way.

We really did have wine, after the dinner, after showering. It's right beside the pc now.

And him? Right beside me.

Too engrossed with finishing Theme Hospital. Everynight he has to get his hands on it and whines whenever he doesn't get to. Sigh I shouldn't have told him about it and bring it over. And now he's restless until he manage to win the whole thing, just like all the other 9823772 games he brought over. Guys. -_-

Night.

Woke up at 7 to prepare his breakfast and lunchbox. There's not much supplies and food left so I just made use of whatever's available.

Breakfast: Oats with Nutella.

Lunch box: Bacon, mushrroms, eggs, leaves and wholemeal bread sandwhich.

Will update later. I think I might go shopping today.

Haha I forgot to mention that this morning while preparing breakfast I was cooking without switching on the range hood cos I didn't know how to switch it on and I thought I already switched it on. When I was frying the mushrooms and onions suddenly the alarm beeped. The smoke triggered the bloody alarm lah. Then Wk had to get up from bed and switch it off haha so stupid la me.

As expected, I did not do any shopping at all because I wasted too much time blogging, cleaning the kitchen gawd it was such a mess, choosing what to wear, doing my hair which was so disappointing because within 2 hours it straightened back T_T (is it my hair or it's the weather's fault?), painting my face, CAMWHORING oh gawd this one took the most time and basically doing nothing while waiting for Wk to finish work before I went out to the city to meet him.

Camwhore with camera not enough had to run to pc and camwhore with the webcam some more.

Sorry I know it's so pointless to see so many pictures of myself. I came up with this theory that whenever I put on makeup I'll turn into another soul completely. One which is VERY self-obsessed. Hence, the urge to camwhore.

If I'm without makeup sometimes my pictures turn out to be so horrible it makes me wanna puke.

Did not even cook (as planned) and instead we went to Mekong, a Vietnam food place and ate beef noodles which was... ok only to me. Sorry to say I don't quite fancy Vietnam food but since he suggested I just followed along. Oh and I don't like Korean food too. I'm a Japanese food supporter.

After dinner we went over to Koko Black.

Ice cream Martini: Vanilla Ice cream drizzled with caramel and nuts.

Chocolate Mousse Martini: Belgian chocolate mousse topped with nuts.

Basically they're called Martini cos they're served on a martini glass. Wah I tell you that 2 martini glasses of dessert is enough to make me feel so bloated and wanna puke if I eat some more. It was nice lah especially the chocolate mousse but we couldn't finish it because it was seriously damn thick. I think one is enough to serve 2. The ice cream too.

After that we did some groceries shopping at Safeway and came back home and this time I found a company to camwhore with =D

That's all for today. I think I'm gonna cook pasta tomorrow. And maybe, MAYBE, go shopping. I seriously need a scarf. A GOOD scarf. And a pair of long socks. I'm too tired of stockings cos everytime I move in them it rides down slowly and it's so irritating! And souvenirs. And if I see a good pair of boots or flats or both with a good price. And a coat.

Shiiiiiiit.

Woke up at 8.30, *touched him out of the apartment before he went to work, came back and stalked blogs, checked mail, and now I'm typing this. I shall go brush my teeth now and eat the almost expiring wholemeal bread. Flour products expire damn fast here. That whole loaf of wholemeal bread which is bigger than our typical loaf back home and which normally takes at least a week to finish, expires in 5 days wtf is this! Wk told me some even expire in 3 days crazy one where got people eat so much of bread in 3 days one! I know maybe it's meant to be sold to families but they should think of people who are staying alone also one mah. By the way my lips are chapping like cibai. And I dunno why yesterday night while sleeping halfway suddenly I feel really hot so I took off all my clothes and this morning woke up shivering even underneath the goose feather duvet haih so sohai. So now I'm wearing 2 layers of pants, Wk's long sleeve shirt, gloves and socks. Yeah gloves and socks inside the apartment.

*touched = Besides the apartment's keys, there's this touch card used to open the automated glass door to get out of the apartment downstairs so that people who are not resident cannot simply come in. There's only one touch card cos he didn't report my stay (cos apparently guests are only allowed to stay for a maximum of 2 weeks wtf is this stupid policy not that they're paying for anything also) so he has to leave the touch card and keys with me just in case I wanna go out or in case there's an emergency.

Made the bed, cleared up my junks in the luggage, washed the cups and plates.Gonna go iron the clothes, reheat leftover pizzas (yes since 2 days ago, last 2 anyway), eat, watch tv and maybe paint my nails.

Fuck. For some unknown reason, the iron... "leaked". And I almost destroyed the tv's remote control cos it was on top of the pool of water. I must have did something stupid to the iron when I took it out to explore cos I intended to iron the clothes. I better not touch it again and wait till Wk gets back and explain things to me. So, pizza and tv now.

I just cried watching Oprah while having pizza. It was an episode about dogs adoption and rescue. What made me cry was the euthanasia process. A process where unadopted dogs which were saved and kept in the shelter are killed because when newly saved dogs come into the shelter, some dogs will have to go if nobody adopts them. Oprah's finished. I think I shall watch some dramas.

3 episodes. You know what? I'm bored. I'm bored of waiting for Wk to finish work and come back so that I can cook. And ask him about the stupid leaking iron. And bath. And do laundry. And throw away the pizza crust I did not eat, which is rotting in the trash bag and releasing some funny smell already. I should have gone out shopping. I saw this Bardot coat at Myers yesterday which had 30% discount and I didn't get it because Wk told me about Sam getting a nicer and better coat at far lower price. Stupid. And now I can't stop thinking about the Bardot coat because the sale ends today T___T And the Country Road bag which I've been contemplating since months ago. It sucks to be alone in the cold and have absolutely nothing to do. Oh, painted my nails while dorama-ing.

Shiiiiiiit. My period came. And dammit it must come at the most random moment and stained the duvet cover I'm so sorry baby I promise I'll clean it for you. He's down to the nearest convenient store to get pads for me cos I obviously cannot go with a bleeding bottom. Gahhhhhhh it was unexpected. Everytime when I'm on pills it'll only come after 3 days I stop eating. That's why I didn't bother getting pads in a hurry. Mana tau. Haih. I'm so sorry.

After he came back, he took over the computer while I played Theme Hospital. And that was the end of the day. Oh in the end he was the one who cleaned up the stain keep reassuring me it's ok. I feel like strangling him for being too nice to me some times heh.

I love how the cold make my skin absolutely oil-free and clear. Sometimes my cheeks even go pink when I'm in contact with a little heat, like when I cook. And thank goodness my lips have finally adapted to the dryness and stopped chapping like cibai already.

I LOVE how my hair look here. (Not naked, I had a towel on) most of the time when I sweep my fringe to the back of my ears there'll always be a bald spot at the temple of my head.

I love this side too. And I also love that hairclip a lot. Bought it in Singapore. It's the only clip that can clasp and support my friggin hair which is too long and too thick.

I just realised my eyebrows are getting thinner and thinner throughout the years. I don't know why I tend to overpluck/tweeze them. I guess I'm getting too influenced by Japanese boys already. Seriously some of the boys have thinner eyebrows than the Japanese girls. But they look hot in it!

Ok gotta go clean up the kitchen now.
